I'm rarely moved to write a Google review but Island Cafe & Bistro is so worth your patronage. I've ordered from them on SkipTheDishes a few times and loved it, but I just recently went into the restaurant to eat and it cemented my love of this restaurant. The (sole!) woman on duty was warm, friendly, and super helpful, bringing us extra sambal (she was worried I didn't have enough to pour on my rice!) and recommending dishes. Oh, and the food is excellent too. I'm not a vegan but the vegan meat substitutes are very creative and delicious. Please go! The service alone is worth the stop--I left feeling full and very cared for. :)
